LOL, I haven't been back for over two years, it's too difficult to fly with the kids, but I have an ache for this place. It's silly because when I was growing up, I couldn't wait to get out and move to a "proper city". Hobart is very small, under 200 000 people. It's also very white, I don't think it would be easy to live there as a Muslim. Although there are two kinds of people in the population, rednecks who have been there forever, and greenies, left wing artisty types who have been attracted to how amazingly beautiful it is. My parents fell into the latter category, they were not true "locals"...

Oh sister, I've visited Tasmania with husband and we could not believe how truly beautiful the place is. We seriously considered moving there.

Let's make a deal - we move there together. :)
